Famous elephants are coming to life from Vipin Raj's fingertips. He has mostly gained attention noticed after creating his sculpture of Pampadi Rajan shown here. Click here to see more photos.
Vipin with help from his brothers Dibin and Binu created this Pampadi Rajan sculpture after more than a month of hard work.
This was his sixth completed work. Of these six works, two of them were of Pampadi Rajan and before that he created one of Keerangadu Keshavan. His first three where more generic elephant models.
It costs more than INR 45,000 to complete a perfect model.
The photo shown below of Pampadi Rajan (on the left) was his inspiration towards creating this model (shown on the right). He hopes to create more if there is interest. These are really spectacular models to display at home and in public places like hotels, shops, and restaurants. All of the models he has created so far have been sold for these purposes.

Kerala has more than nine hundred elephants in captivity. Most of them are owned by temples and individuals. They are used for religious ceremonies in and around the temples, and a few elephants work at timber yards. Experts defined the necessary features (Lakshanam) for a good elephant. The sexy features of the elephants are narrated in different books like "Mathanga Leela". They even said, the girls should walk like elephant to get more attraction. ..
