| Head Lifting at pamapadi Cheruvallikavu |

Bastian Vinayashanker won the head lifting competition at Pampadi Cheruvallikavu Temple. This year the main competition was from pamapadi Rajan who won the competition last year.
When Bastian Declared winner some fans of Pampadi Rajan comes forward and asked the organizors to mesaure both elephant. But it was again Bastian on top at that time. When Rajan messured 304 CM, Bastian Vinayashanker was 309 CM.
But because Bastian created some problems inside the temple, Rajan took the thidambu next day for the Arattu.

They are used for religious ceremonies in and around the temples, and a few elephants work at timber yards. Experts defined the necessary features (Lakshanam) for a good elephant. The sexy features of the elephants are narrated in different books like "Mathanga Leela". They even said, the girls should walk like elephant to get more attraction. ..
