Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan at Cherai this year.
February 09, 2009

Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan won the head lifting competition at Cherai this year. Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan came as a replacement for Techikottukavu Ramachandran to compete aganist Pampadi Rajan.

It was a clear victory for Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan. Pampadi Rajan gone above Ayyappan on few occassions, but it was Ayyappan who hold his head through out the competition.

The second best elephant for holding his head on top for long time and the best if considered the beauty also, Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan will hold the main thidambu of Cherai Subhrahmanya Swami for Cherai Poram 2009.

We will have to wait for seeing his performance with Thechikottukavu Ramachandran if both come to Ethithanam Gajamela this year.
