Devaswam Seetharaman in now Triprayar Temple for the daily procession. In Tripryar Temple 2 seeveli is there with elephant one is without elephant. Devaswam Seetharaman is the idol carrier now since 2 months. |

Kerala has more than nine hundred elephants in captivity. Most of them are owned by temples and individuals. They are used for religious ceremonies in and around the temples, and a few elephants work at timber yards. Experts defined the necessary features (Lakshanam) for a good elephant. The sexy features of the elephants are narrated in different books like "Mathanga Leela". They even said, the girls should walk like elephant to get more attraction. ..
