Description
 This was the first arival of Guruvayoor padmanabhan to this part of Kerala. So many thousands of people came to be blessed themself by seeing him. He took the thidambu of Devi in 2005.

Kerala has more than nine hundred elephants in captivity. Most of them are owned by temples and individuals. They are used for religious ceremonies in and around the temples, and a few elephants work at timber yards. Experts defined the necessary features (Lakshanam) for a good elephant. The sexy features of the elephants are narrated in different books like "Mathanga Leela". They even said, the girls should walk like elephant to get more attraction. ..
