thayankavu manikandan purchased by local devotees of Lord Ayyappan of thayankavu, choondal in trichur dist during 1980's.After nadayerittal manikandan became the property of cochin dewasam and he was taken to Thripunithara and now he has no connection with thayankavu. he is a nadan aana and age about 25-30
