Biography

Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan is a bihar orgin elephant.He came to Mangalamkunnu in the year 1994.They bought him from Sonpur Mela.He is a lucky star among elephants because he could hold the thedambu for Paramekavu devaswam during the Trissur pooram 2007.

Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan by his stature alone commands respect amongst all other elephants in kerala.Add to that the fact that he is a white elephant which is regarded as rare and having blessings of God.You can see that the hair near it's tail,near it's mouth,and near the ears are white which are some signs.With demand of him increasing more and more all over kerala he is defeating those elephants which were thought invincible.Mangalamkunnu ayyappan you truly are amazing......

now ayyappan is becoming star coz he defeat pampadi rajan 2 times and lso thrikadavoor sivaraju.............i think he is the best elephant both in looks and heigt..................also he is best in head liftng

Elephants

Kerala has more than nine hundred elephants in captivity. Most of them are owned by temples and individuals. They are used for religious ceremonies in and around the temples, and a few elephants work at timber yards. Experts defined the necessary features (Lakshanam) for a good elephant. The sexy features of the elephants are narrated in different books like "Mathanga Leela". They even said, the girls should walk like elephant to get more attraction. ..

We would like to contribute to the welfare of everyone live, love and work around elephant and elephant festivals. We would like to improve their eduction and financial condition. Also we would like to be a portal to buy and sell everything related to elephants.
