By creating a central resource for elephant and festival related information, the fan, owner, broker, and festival organizer community have the ability to inform each other and share in this unique aspect of Indian culture with the rest of the world.

Kerala has more than nine hundred elephants in captivity. Most of them are owned by temples and individuals. They are used for religious ceremonies in and around the temples, and a few elephants work at timber yards. Experts defined the necessary features (Lakshanam) for a good elephant. The sexy features of the elephants are narrated in different books like "Mathanga Leela". They even said, the girls should walk like elephant to get more attraction. ..
